Will Leaf Pro work with my Nissan Leaf?
Leaf Pro supports the ZE0 (2011–2012), AZE0 (2013–2017) and ZE1 (2018-onward model family). Individual readings depend on the vehicle, region and adapter. Third-generation Leaf compatibility is not confirmed. Check the compatibility guide.
Do I need an OBD2 adapter?
Yes, for live vehicle readings. iPhone needs Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Wi-Fi. Android can also use Bluetooth Classic. An adapter advertised simply as “Bluetooth” is not enough to establish iPhone compatibility.
Is battery health the same as the charge percentage?
No. State of charge (SOC) tells you how full the battery is now. State of health (SOH) is the battery controller’s estimate of remaining capacity relative to its reference condition. A worn battery can still charge to 100%.
Can it help me check a used Leaf?
Yes. Battery readings and a recorded assessment add context to a test drive. They are not a mechanical inspection, a warranty decision, or a guarantee about future battery life. Ask the seller’s permission and use a qualified specialist when a finding needs investigation.
Does Leaf Pro need a subscription?
No. Everyday features are free to try. The battery-health tools are a one-time in-app purchase, with the local price shown by your app store. Leaf Pro is available now on the App Store and Google Play.
